Ticket sales for KUSD's Orchestra Festival now on sale

Kenosha Unified School District’s 56th Annual Orchestra Festival will be presented on Saturday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m. at Indian Trail High School and Academy, 6800 60th St. The event will feature performances by more than 1,300 elementary, middle, high and charter school students.

Tickets may be purchased online at the KUSD Fine Arts web page. All seats are reserved, and patrons can choose between the field house performance venue ($8) or live-feed video auditorium seating ($3). In addition, both the Saturday and Sunday performances will be streamed live on Channel 20 and YouTube. This event traditionally sells out, and tickets cannot be guaranteed at the door.

This year’s guest conductor, Kirt Mosier, is an internationally known composer and conductor and recently retired director of orchestras at Lee’s Summit West High School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He has also taught orchestration and arranging as an adjunct professor at UMKC Conservatory of Music in Kansas City, Missouri.
