Open Enrollment for 2013-14 School YearMay 13 - June 17All Employees are eligible to enroll in the Flexible Spending Account for Medical and Dependent Care Reimbursement for the 2013–14 School Year. Please follow the detailed instructions listed under Flex if you would like to enroll in this benefit. Your electronic enrollment must be completed by June 17, 2013. AST, Educational Assistants, Secretaries and Service Employees are also eligible to enroll, change or drop the UHC Vision plan for the 2013–14 School Year. Please download and print the UHC Vision Enrollment form from the Open Enrollment section of the Staff Connect page and return the completed form to Human Resources by June 17, 2013. Educational Assistants and Secretaries are also eligible to enroll, change or drop their Delta Dental plan for the 2013–14 School Year. This is the time when you may switch between the Traditional (80% coverage) and the Enhanced (100% coverage) Delta Dental plan. Please download and print the Delta Dental form from the Open Enrollment section of the Staff Connect page and return the completed form to Human Resources by June 17, 2013. Employee HandbookThe KUSD Employee Handbook was approved by the Board of Education on January 29, 2013, and will go into effect on July 1, 2013. KUSD implemented a staff survey to gather feedback regarding the development of the new Employee Handbook. This anonymous survey was available to all KUSD employees from August 31 to September 11, 2012. Over 1700 employees provided valuable responses.
