Friday, September 28th, Grant Elementary School went on an all school field trip. We cooked hot dogs, took hikes to the sacred pine groves, learned about walnuts, went on scavenger hunts, played games and on the equipment. We saw fish swimming in the creek and with their fins sticking out, we thought they were sharks. We did leaf rubbings and looked at the different kinds of trees and insects. It was truly a family fun day. Close to fifty percent of our Grant children had never been to Petrifying Springs Park. |
