Kenosha Band BoostersKenosha Band Boosters

Kenosha Band Boosters, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide support for the Kenosha Unified School District band program. We rely on volunteers to assist at many music events, such as Band-O-Rama and Solo/Ensemble, to help make those activities a success. We also support music activities financially through annual fund-raisers such as Breakfast With The Bands, Ice Cream Social and with a food booth at the Festival of Arts and Flowers. Kenosha Band Boosters also supports the summer band program, which includes K-L Recreational Band, Rambler Band, Continental Band and the Band of the Black Watch. The bands perform at various events and parades, including the Kenosha Civic Parade during the week of Independence Day.

Breakfast With The Bands is a fund-raiser for the Kenosha Band Boosters. It’s usually held in May at Tremper High School. Bands from several Kenosha Unified School District middle and high schools perform while the audience has breakfast prepared by volunteers. There also is a raffle.

The Ice Cream Social is a Kenosha Band Boosters fund-raiser usually held in July at Kemper Center. It includes performances by the summer bands – Rambler Band, Continental Band and Band of the Black Watch – along with food sales, basket raffles and, of course, ice cream.
