Kenosha Unified names girls lacrosse coach

Kenosha Unified School District announced today that Elizabeth Wittenborg has been hired as the district’s varsity girls lacrosse coach for the upcoming 2018 spring season.

The district welcomes Wittenborg to its coaching staff to which she will bring several years of experience. Wittenborg played lacrosse in high school and at Carthage College. Her experience also includes years of coaching at the club level in Kenosha and Minnesota. Wittenborg also teaches fifth grade at Kenosha School of Technology and Enhanced Curriculum.

“I am excited to develop the district’s varsity lacrosse team and share my passion for the game of lacrosse with student athletes,” said Wittenborg.

Bryan Mogensen, coordinator of athletics for Kenosha Unified, added, “We are thrilled to have Ms. Wittenborg on board as our head coach for the inaugural year of girls lacrosse and look forward to great first season for our student athletes, families and fans.”

The team will host home games at Indian Trail High School and Academy, with the season beginning in March 2018.
