Hillcrest Learning Differences Conference

The Hillcrest Learning Differences Conference will focus on secondary students with learning differences, behavior challenges and traumatic events. Breakout sessions will address: impact of trauma on learning, the use of technology in differentiation, motivation for at-promise students, closing the achievement gap, and student-teacher partnerships.

• 8:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - Keynote speaker: Dr. Michele Hancock, Kenosha Unified School District
• 10:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Break
• 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Session One
• 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. – Lunch on Your Own
• 1:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. - Session Two
• 2:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Break with beverages and light snack served by KUSD Bistro students
• 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. - Presenter Panel Discussion
