Meal Prepayment System - SNAP

SNAP is a computerized meal tracking system that allows parents to make prepayments into their student's meal account.

This system eliminates the problems associated with students carrying money for lunch everyday.

Parents may make prepayments into their student's accounts by the week, month or year.

Money may be added to your student's account by filling out a prepayment form and returning it to:

* The school

* The ESC Building - Food Service Department

Loan Lunches: When your Elementary student's meal account drops to $7.00, a "Low Balance" letter will be sent home with your student on "Folder Day".

When the account has a negative balance, an additional letter will be sent home on Folder Day requesting that you send money to pay for your student's lunches.

If your student's meal account becomes deliquent, your student will be offered an alternate lunch and not the regularly offered school lunch, until the account has been resolved.

When a student has a negative balance in their account, they will be given an alternate lunch until the debt is paid off.

In addition, the account will be charged $.50 for each negative balance meal.

If you have questions regarding this policy, please call the Food Service Department at (262) 359-7763.
