District Staff Survey

During the 2010 Convocation, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michele Hancock, promised the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) staff that the Office of Educational Accountability (OEA) would conduct a District Staff Survey. This survey was distributed to all employees during September 16-22, 2010. The goal of the survey was to capture employees’ perceptions about a number of relevant matters which affected KUSD.

In addition to basic demographic information (Questions 1-6), the survey was comprised of four categories (see District Survey Questions 7-26). The survey categories are: Leadership (7 selected response questions), Climate (4 selected response questions), Culture (4 selected response questions), and Diversity (5 selected response questions). For each survey question, the respondent was asked to select one of the following: 1 - “Strongly Agree”, 2 - “Agree”, 3 - “Neutral” (only used if person did not have knowledge of the content area), 4 -“Disagree”, or 5 - “Strongly Disagree”.
