Research

The Research Department develops statistical and analytical models to support planning, decision-making, and continuous management of educational subsystems. Major responsibilities and functions are:

• Develop meaningful and useful reports and articulate the academic achievement levels of the District
• Provide statistical and analytical information to the Superintendent of Schools and the School Board
• Establish both District and school-by-school academic performance benchmarks and goals
• Participate and/or conduct studies related to the area of educational research
